Old Leamingtonians Ladies RFC travelled to Dudley Kingswinford Ladies this weekend, hoping to extend their cup run.  OLs had the upper hand from the very beginning, but were lacking composure and it took some time for the first try to come. That was delivered by Tasha Barnes, speeding through the defence from her position at full back to get the ball over the line.

The next was scored by OLs captain Caz Spence, whose strong running and carrying prompted the opposition to vote her player of the match. The rather scrappy half was rounded off by OLs’ player of the match Sarah Munday scoring and converting her own try to take the score to 17 - 0.

In the second half OLs pulled their socks up, and in a matter of minutes Tasha Barnes had scored again.  This was quickly followed by a try in the opposite corner, with Yoli Sempere running half the length of the pitch to set up a well deserved try for Vicky Lewis.  Tasha Barnes then completed her hat trick, and the game was brought to a close by captain Spence scoring her second. Sarah Munday converted once again before the final whistle blew, leaving OLs with a 41 - 0 victory and a place in the next round of the cup.
