Unfortunately we have seen some more team resignations from the League as teams have struggled to find enough players. Hopefully the players who had signed, can find opportunities as quickly as possible with other teams in the League.

Under 18's Division

Welford Juniors and Crowle Searchers Academicals played out a terrific 3-3 draw at Synder Meadow as goals from Zinzan Hancox (2) and Murray Jackson brought Welford a point.

Alcester Town Juniors fine start to the season continued as they won 3-1 at home to Littleton Juniors, George Davis hitting a hat-trick which also saw two assists from William Wren.

Pershore Town Bullets first home game of the season saw Archdales visit Peopleton for another close encounter between the two sides. In a goalless first half, the visitors made the most of the windy conditions and always looked the more dangerous side breaking from midfield in numbers. The hosts failed to make the most of the wind at their backs in the second half and another fast break saw Archdales take the lead after 5 minutes, Lukasz Kutko slotting home from the edge of the box. Seven minutes later Lukasz doubled the lead for the visitors with Pershore’s defence failing to deal with a cross into the danger area. Archdales looked sure to bag all the points but, with 15 minutes left in the match, a cross from the right found Josh Waters unmarked and his half-volley nestled in the bottom left corner of the net to pull one back. Pershore now had their tails up and just a minute later equalised when Elliot Yates thumped home a great header. In the end 2-2 was a good result for Pershore when Archdales looked set for the win and the visitors felt they might have had a third when the referee turned down appeals for a penalty for a possible handball.

Under 14 Pool A

Ilmington United substitute Alistair McCalllum came off the bench to score two fine goals and help his side to a 3-1 home victory over Eckington Juniors. The visitors had taken an early lead through Sam Hayler, with a with a smart shot into the bottom corner of the net.  The home side replied through Archie Malec and McCallum got the 1st of his two goals to put the home side 2-1 up at the break.  In the 2nd half Eckington searched for the goals to get them back in the match but some resolute Ilmington defending made it a frustrating morning for the away side.

Leigh & Bransford Badgers Borough and Littleton Juniors served up a feast of goal mouth entertainment which eventually finished 4-4 at Hospital Lane. Ash Naciri put Littleton 2-0 up inside 15-minutes but the home side hit back with two goals in 5-minutes from Scott Price and Oscar Crawford.  Four goals in the opening 25-minutes set the game alight and on 32-minutes Naciri got his hat-trick to put the visitors 3-2 up at half-time.  The away team looked to have won the match on 54-minutes when Naciri hit his and his teams 4th goal but the Badgers dug deep and were rewarded when Aston White and Joshua Toon hit two goals in two minutes to pull the score level on 60-minutes.
