Saturday 5th November:                   


The league action returned after the half-term break with plenty of entertainment throughout the age groups.


Under 18's Division

Crowle Searchers Academicals won the bragging rights with a 4-0 win at Crowle Searchers Harriers.

Under 16 Pool A

Droitwich Spa Town shocked Evesham United Colts with a 2-0 win at the S & H Jubilee Stadium.

Under 16 Pool B

Lenches FC are setting the pace at the top, having stretched their unbeaten run to four matches with a 3-1 home win over Pershore Warriors. James Elwell bagged a brace with the other goal coming from Felix Shears.

Nunnery Wood Kestrels were another side to hit three goals, as a 3-2 win at home to Wychavon Lions brought a 2nd win of the campaign. Harrison Manning, Daniel Simpson and Brandon Taylor hit the hosts goals.

Under 15 Pool A

Wins for both Bidford Juniors and Newtown Sports Juniors keep them in 1st and 2nd place. Alex Evans, Edward Waller and Tyler Chapman giving Bidford a 3-0 win at Meadow Park.

Under 15 Pool B

Badsey Rangers opened up a five point gap at the top with their latest victory.

Under 14 Pool A

Newtown Sports Juniors won 1-0 at Lenches FC, the all important goal coming from Lewis Regan. This win puts Newtown 3-points clear at the top but four other teams are close behind in a very even group that is likely to have plenty of twist and turns in the months ahead.

Welland Junior Lions enjoyed life on the road as they won 6-2 at Moreton Rangers. Henry Smyth and Cameron Spiers scored for Rangers while the Lions response came from William Hughes (3), Max Arnold, Jonathan Henderson and Herbie Southam.

Eckington Juniors took a 1-0 lead into the break at Stratford Town Colts, as Basty Brothwood fired in a slightly fortuitous , looping shot over the Stratford keeper. The home side then missed several good chances before Finlay Hulse finished off a smart counter attack for Eckington. Sam Hayler fired in a low drive into the far corner of the Stratford net to make it 3-0.  Stratford converted a consolation penalty in the closing stages. An excellent game of football for all who attended.

Under 14 Pool B

Droitwich Spa Vipers' 4-1 win at Shipston Excelsior keeps them in 2nd spot. as Jack Griffiths (3) and Matthew Simms struck for Spa. Harry Langford got Shipston's solitary goal.

Westbury Celtic Youth made the short trip to Meadow Park and a Joshua Heath goal gave Celtic a share of the points in a 1-1 draw.

Under 14 Pool C

It's proving to be difficult job to predict who the favourites may be in this group as only 1-point separates the top five sides!

Bretforton Juniors put their last match behind them as they won 4-1 at home to Drakes Broughton Rangers. Harry Putnum's clinical hat-trick was the telling difference in the game, with the other goals being scored by Ethan Rimmer for Bretforton and Barnaby Burden for Drakes.

Two goals from Luke Hulme gave Evesham United Colts a 2-1 home win over Campden Town.

Under 13 Pool A

Crowle Searchers lost 4-0 at home to Ilmington United. Edward Jukes picked up the Crowle POTM award, but it's disappointing to see that three Crowle substitutes failed to get any game time!

Under 13 Pool B

Badsey Rangers gained another convincing victory, with Liam Andrews and Stanley Kirby getting two goals a-piece in the pick of the goalscorers.

Droitwich Spa Kestrels suffered their 1st league defeat as Meadow Park secured a 2-1 win. Luke Payne scored for Spa but they were unable to find an equaliser in a very even game.

Under 12 Pool A

Welland Junior FC gave leaders Eckington Eagles a scare with a well taken Daniel Chessman goal but Eagles eventually took the points with a 2-1 win.

Under 12 Pool B

Leigh & Bransford Badgers Alexander maintain top spot with their win at St Johns Colts. Thomas Harding hitting a 30-minute hat-trick at Colts' YMCA Worcester ground.


Inkberrow Eagles convincing 9-1 win saw 5-goals for Adam Hill and 4-goals for Samuel Cund.

There were plenty of goal celebrations as Droitwich Spa Dragons won 4-3 at Warndon Village Lions. Finley Simpson's hat-trick for Spa being the telling factor.

Warndon Village Kestrels took all the points at Winchcombe Town with a 4-2 final score. Freddie Caldwell, Josh Kain, Cian Scott and Genti Cokaj all on the scoresheet.


We wish to remind team administrators that they must inform the League in advance, if kick-off times are amended. If a match is postponed or abandoned, the relevant documentation must be completed and submitted to the League by the required timescale.
