There was already a reduced fixture schedule due to it being the next round of the cup for many age groups, but with the overnight snow affecting many areas, the list was reduced even further.

Under 18's Division

The eagerly awaited top of the table game between Wychbold Juniors and Crowle Searchers unfortunately fell victim to the weather.  Wychbold are now facing a fixture backlog and the games will be coming thick & fast both in the League and the Cup. As well as a Semi-Final to look forward to in our own U18's Cup competition, Nolan Talbot's side have also reached the Final of the Saturday U18's County Cup Final where they will face Worcester City.  The date of the County Cup Final still has to be confirmed but the League wishes to congratulate Wychbold Juniors on getting to the Final and flying the 'Amby' flag.

Under 14's WFA County Cup

The Ambassador Evesham Football League had two survivors in the competition and the Semi-Final draw saw both teams kept apart.

Westbury Celtic Tigers faced an immensely difficult tie against Kidderminster Harriers Development Centre. The final result saw Westbury bow out 2-0, but they gave a terrific account of themselves led by Captain Billy Maycroft and can be proud to have reached the later stages of this competition.

In the other tie, Eckington Juniors lost to Worcester City, so the Final will see both of the Counties leading teams, Kidderminster Harriers and Worcester City face each other.

AEFL U14's Cup

Droitwich Spa Tigers lost at home to Alcester Town, Jack Hunt getting a consolation goal for the Tigers, following a well placed pass from George Townson.

AEFL Under 12's Cup

There was an evenly fought contest at Campden Town as the Pool B hosts played high flying Pool A side Lenches FC.  In an intriguing match, Campden certainly gave the away side plenty to think about by causing a massive cup upset in a 4-3 victory.  Lenches superb second half display saw two goals for Thomas Dixon in the space of four minutes and a goal from Callum Taylor on 54-munites, but they just couldn't find an equaliser to force the game into extra-time.

Campden Town now face another difficult tie in the Semi-Final as they meet Pool A leaders Welford Juniors Pumas, who were forced into extra-time by their opponents Ilmington Town, but Fraser Carr scored the only goal of the game to see the Pumas through.

In another cup shock, Pool B leaders Moreton Rangers put out Tewkesbury Town Colts from Pool A by 3-0 with goals from Jordie Colome (2) and Henry Smyth.

Moreton Rangers Semi-Final opponents will be Pool C leaders, Wellend Junior Lions, who won 3-1 at home to Bidford Juniors. Jasper Foster getting the sole Bidford goal.

Under 12's Pool A

In league action, Badsey Rangers secured an away win with several fine goals. Among the scorers were Harry Powell who got a hat-trick and two apiece from Jack Downie and Harry Putnum.

Next weekend (7th February) sees a welcome return to league action and a full set of 75, yes 75! fixtures scheduled to take place.   Let's hope the weather is kind to us, as we look to reduce the backlog of games.
