Our round-up of 7th March, includes Semi-Final action in our Cup Competitions.

Under 18's Cup Semi-Finals

Crowle Searchers reached the Final of this seasons competition with a convincing 2nd half display over Lower Teme Lions. The Searchers took an early lead through Sam Tuft but were unable to increase their lead in the 1st half as the Lions stood firm. Whatever was said at half-time by the Crowle management certainly had a positive effect as Oluwatatabi Ipaye,  James Morris and Iosac Nelson all hit the net and although Lower Team pulled a goal back, the game was too out of reach and it's Crowle Searchers who can look forward to the main event on Wednesday 22nd April.

Wychbold Juniors will be the team facing Crowle Searchers in the Final, after the Juniors hard fought victory over Evesham United Colts.  In a highly competitive end-to-end match that also saw three yellow cards brandished, the game ended level at 90-minutes but Wychbold eventually found a deciding goal to take the game 5-4 after extra-time.  Evesham's goals came from Luke Andrews (2) and a hat-trick from Luke Davis while the Wychbold scorers were Pedro Gouveia, Harvey Harris, Daniel McCardle and a brace from Jamie Wall.

Under 16's Cup Semi-Finals

Tewkesbury Town Colts fought off a strong performance from Alcester Town to win 4-3 and cement their place in the Final. Unfortunately we have no information on the home teams scorer, but the Alcester goalscorers were Cameron Bennett, George Guy and Dylan Parker.

The other Finalists will be Inkberrow Eagles who despite taking the lead, were pegged back by Evesham United Colts, when the reds found a well deserved equaliser. With the windy conditions in their favour, Inkberrow's corners caused several problems, but the Evesham goalkeeper made several fine stops to keep the score level.  As the game headed into the last 25-minutes, Inkberrow's increasing attacks were finally rewarded with three quick goals to put the final score at 4-1, but the score was rather harsh on Evesham who really contributed to an excellent game of football in difficult conditions.

Under 15's Cup Semi-Finals

It took extra-time to decide the Inkberrow Eagles versus Sheppey Swifts match after the game ended 2-2 in normal time. The goals continued to flow in the additional period and it was Inkberrow who secured a narrow 4-3 victory with goals from Cian Adams, Jack Cole, Jack Nicholls and Jack Turner.

In the other tie, Evesham United Colts won 3-1 over Drakes Broughton Rangers in an entertaining match but unfortunately neither side has provided any further match stats for our press report.

Under 14's Cup Semi-Finals

This season's Final will see Alcester Town face Bidford Juniors.  It is disappointing that neither of the Semi-Final winners have provided any information on their respective games.

Under 14's Pool B

Alcester Town Rangers move up to a mid-table position with a convincing 6-0 away success. The Rangers scorers were Dillon Dudley-Hands, Benjamin Knowles, Joe Sharper and a brace from Roman Faulkner.

Under 13's Cup Semi-Finals

Again, we have lack of information from the competing teams in the 2-matches, other than the final scores, where Shipston Excelsior won 6-1 and Littleton Juniors triumphed 5-3.

Under 12's Cup Semi-Finals

Pool B promotion challengers Moreton Rangers caused a major cup shock as they put out Pool A leaders and previously undefeated Welford Juniors Pumas 5-4 on penalties after a 0-0 in open play. Moreton's opponents in the Final will be Welland Junior Lions, who won 1-0 in their tie.

Under 12's Pool B

Shipston Excelsior go back to the top of the table with a 3-0 home win, goals from Jake Bradley, Adam Lane and Sam Stretton setting the 'Ships' on their way.

Under 12's Pool C

Cradley Sports promotion challenge took a knock as they lost 4-2 at Inkberrow Eagles. The Sports scorers were Todd Davies and Declan Holmes but the defeat  is certainly recoverable as Cradley have home advantage in all four of their remaining league matches.

Under 11's Cup Semi-Finals

Evesham United Robins went out 5-1 to Bidford Bombers, the Robins goal scored by Oliver Johns.  Bidford await the winners of this weekend's Alcester Town Juniors versus Welford Juniors game.

Under 11's Plate Semi-Finals:

Eckington Juniors won 6-1 to confirm their place in the Final, but we have no other match details. What we do know is that they will face the winners of this weekend's Moreton Rangers versus Ilmington United match.

Reminder:

Match Officials MUST be contacted by 9pm on a Wednesday by the HOME TEAM, who should also confirm the team colours of both the HOME and AWAY team. Match Officials contact numbers are contained in the notification email from the Full-Time system.
