The latest round of matches in the AEFL produced a few surprises.

Under 18's Division

The push for the title took some new twists as current leaders Broadway United Youth crashed 3-0 away at Evesham United Colts. This was the first time in nine games that Broadway have failed to find the net and it proved costly as goals from Hugh Chapman, Charlie England and Dan Nicholls gave Evesham a convincing win that lilts them up to 2nd place.

In another twist, Crowle Searchers snatched a late goal in a 3-2 home victory over Wychbold Juniors.  The away side looked to have taken a share of the points with goals from Bradley Knight and Jamie Wall but goals from Daniel Kerr, Sam Tufft and Jared Millward sealed the match for Crowle. Both sides face each other in the U18 Cup Final, so it's sure to provide plenty of intrigue & excitement.

Under 16's Division

Pershore Town hit four goals at home through Max Ferriday, Jacob Hyde, Brad Thompson and Harry While, but unfortunately still found themselves on the losing side as opponents Welford Juniors replied with seven goals of their own.

Inkberrow Eagles enjoyed a convincing away victory, which saw a hat-trick for Oliver Venturi, which keeps the Eagles in 2nd place with one match remaining.

Under 14's Pool A

Champions, Westbury Celtic Tigers played out a fantastic 9-goal thriller with 2nd placed Bidford Juniors. In the end, the Tigers held on for a 5-4 win, with goals from Joshua Farnsworth, Reiss Hadley, Drew Tulley, Billy Maycroft and Luke Cooper-Sargent.

This result leaves Bidford needing a point from their last match of the season at Alcester Town, who themselves are pushing for a Runner-up spot and with both teams facing each other in this weekends U14 Cup Final, they will certainly know each other in the next 2-weeks.

Under 14's Pool B

Alcester Town Rangers won 4-2 at home to Welford Juniors with strikes from Roman Faulkner, Harry Wilkinson, Sam Mason and Leo Dawson, keeping them in mid-table.

Under 13's Pool A

Broadway United Youth pushed leaders Welford Juniors all the way and may consider themselves unlucky as two goals from Oliver Burdett gave Welford a narrow 2-1 win.

Under 12's Pool A

Congratulations to  Welford Juniors Pumas who secured the Championship with a midweek away victory, Fraser Carr helping himself to hat-trick to set the celebrations in motion.

Lenches FC are confirmed as Runners-up as they won 5-0 at home with a brace from Owen Horne and a hat-trick from Samuel Vaughan.

Under 12's Pool B

It took a solitary goal from Conor Murphy to bring Shipston Excelsior a 1-0 win at Campden Town. This completed the league programme for Shipston and confirms them as Champions.

Under 12's Pool C

Pershore Town Piranhas took a share of the points in a 2-2 draw at newly crowned Champions, Welland Junior Lions.
