Despite the continued poor weather, we saw a large amount of games get the go ahead on the 5th December, which was good news for our young footballers as we approach the Christmas break.

Tewkesbury Town Colts recovered from last week's defeat, to seal a 9-1 home win over Bidford Juniors. The heavy cross wind caused a problem for both teams, but it was the Colts 1st half performance that put them in the driving seat. Droitwich Spa Scorpions are suffering from an injury crisis and their cause wasn't helped when they had to kick into the 45mph wind in the 1st half against Eckington Juniors Eagles. Despite this, the Scorpions scored through Brandon Byrne and Kai Harris, but things got worse when they lost a player through injury and had to play the rest of the match with only 10 players, as the Eagles sealed victory.

Welford Juniors Pumas came away with a 3-0 win at Droitwich Spa Vipers. It was the familiar names on the scoresheet for the Pumas, as Maximillian Haudebourg (2) and Oscar Grisenthwaite found the net.

Latest News

With some teams likely to face a backlog of matches due to recent postponements or their involvement in County Cup matches, we would ask teams to look at the possibility of bringing forward some of the matches that have provisionally been set towards the end of the season, into dates that are currently 'open' such as during the Christmas period break. If you are able to rearrange some of these matches, please ensure you gain the permission of your opponents and also notify out Fixture Secretary, Dave Hyde.

Please remember that if your match is postponed, then you must let the League know immediately and complete the necessary paperwork.
