The 19th December saw the last fixtures before Christmas but unfortunately the weather has caused major disruption once again, with a host of postponements due to unfit pitches.

Under 18's Division

The all Crowle Searchers local derby between the Academicals and the Crusaders went the way of the later, as the Academicals could find no solution to the attacking prowess of their opponents. Daniel Kerr opened the scoring for the Crusaders on 17-minutes and two further goals from Sam Tufft and Joshua Massey in the last 15-minutes of the 1st half put them 3-0 up at the interval. Into the 2nd half and Kerr got his 2nd of the game and within a minute it was 5-0 when substitute Oluwatobi Ipaye came off the bench to maximum effect. On 59-minutes, the impressive Kerr completed his hat-trick and a 2nd goal from Ipaye and a strike from Daniel Thomas completed a miserable day for the Academicals. The Crusaders win lifts them to the top of the table going into the New Year, although the chasing pack do have a game or two in hand.

Under 15's Pool A

Westbury Celtic Tigers 8-0 win at Eckington Juniors puts the Tigers in joint top spot for Christmas. Reiss Hadley bagged five of his sides goals and it's already looking like a two horse race between the Tigers and the Spartans for the title, as both Westbury sides are breaking clear of the other teams in the table.

Under 14's Division

Pershore Town Bullets put in their best performance of the season to defeat Lenches FC 8-1 at the Memorial Hall Ground. A first half hat-trick from top scorer Matt Keyte was to prove decisive and deservedly secured all the points for the visitors. In heavy and windy conditions once again, Pershore made the most of the elements to come out on top and were 1-0 up with barely a minute on the clock. Captain Harry Wilcox curled the ball in at the near post from a quickly taken corner. But Lenches were soon on level terms with a cracking shot from the edge of the box. Pershore regained the lead with Matt Keyte firing home, followed by his second after great work at the back from Jack Thomas who carried the ball all the way to the half way line and laid on a great through ball. Harvey Brand made it 4-1 with a shot into the top corner and Keyte completed his hat-trick just before the break. The hosts had more possession in the second period but were guilty of straying offside too often, and were soon 6-1 down after Brand got his second squeezing a shot in between keeper and post. The game was effectively over when a great corner found Chris Vizard rising at the far post to head Pershore's seventh. Jack Thomas capped a great performance with a mazy run through the Lenches defence in the penalty area to slide home with aplomb.

Welford Juniors sit at the top of the U14 table, their latest victory a 7-0 home win over Alcester Town.  Oliver Burdett was the player in form once again as he claimed five of the goals to take him to a very impressive 27 goals so far this season.  If Oliver continues this sort of form, the incredible 40-goals in a season may well be on the horizon.

Under 13's Pool A

Lenches FC just made in past the post as they secured 3-points with a hard fought 4-3 win at Eckington Juniors Ospreys. Thomas Dixon and Owen Horne's two goals saw the game delicately poised at 3-3 but a 68th minute goal from Samuel Vaughan sealed maximum points to lift Lenches into 4th place.

Newtown Sports Juniors now have an eight point gap at the top of the table after a 5-0 win at home to Bidford Juniors, as George Blannin hit a well taken hat-trick.

Under 13's Pool B

Droitwich Spa Vipers earned a point at Campden Town in an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Recreation Ground. John Tait and Charlie Ness were clinical in front of goal for the Vipers.

Cradley Sports hit six without reply against Droitwich Spa Scorpions, Declan Holmes got a brace in this match.

Welland Junior Lions caused something of a shock as they won 3-2 at promotion hopefuls Welford Juniors Pumas. Goals from James Hodgetts,  William Hughes and Sebastian Whittle made it a roaring day for the Lions.

Under 13's Pool C

Worcester Colts will go into New Year as table toppers after a 4-2 victory at fellow promotion challengers Broadway United Youth. 1st half goals from Luke Ford-Thompson and Charlie Mogg kept the Colts in contention and they secured all three points with 2nd half goals from Cameron Smith and Finn Monkhouse. The Worcester POTM went to Oliver Jones.

We have had a lot of problems recently due to Managers or Team Administrators texting incorrect data into the FA's automated results service. We have therefore issued a general  email to all team representatives reminding everyone of the procedure and format that should be followed. Please read bulletin carefully and hopefully we will see an improvement.

May we wish everyone a Very Happy Christmas and we look forward to the 2nd half of the season.
