It was welcome relief for the league as 55 games went ahead on 23rd January.

There was still some disappointment as around 25 matches still suffered postponements, but overall it was great to see so many of our teams back out on a football field after such a long break affected by the weather.

Under 18 Cup

Broadway United & Inkberrow Eagles came through their respective quarter-final ties . Inkberrow will face the winners of next weekends Crowle Searchers Academicals vs. Wychbold Juniors match, while Broadway secured home advantage with a semi-fimal match against Crowle Searchers Crusaders.

Under 16 Cup

Evesham United Colts' 3-2 win at home to Tewkesbury Town Pumas gives them a home tie with Malvern Town Wanderers in the Semi-Finals.

Under 15 Cup

Alcester Town Juniors sealed a semi-final place with a 4-0 win at Droitwich Spa Tigers.

Under 15 Pool A

The goals flowed at Ombersely Road as hosts Droitwich Spa Pumas claimed a 6-3 win over Eckington Juniors. Among the Pumas scorers were James Palmer, Charlie Siviter, James Webster (2) and Mason Woodfield.

Under 14 Cup

Shipston Excelsior hosted fellow title challengers Badsey Rangers in the Cup and it was the away side who moved into the last four with a 5-2 success. Goals from JD Cole (2), Harry Davies, Jake Edwards and Edward Waller made it a good morning for the Badsey team.

Under 13 Cup

It was a tense affair at Cookley Sports as the Pool B leaders faced Ilmington United from Pool A. The game ended 1-1 in normal time and extra-time failed to produce any further goals so the match went to penalties, where Cookley triumphed 4-3 to move into the next round.

Welland Junior Lions booked their semi-final place as goals from William Hughes (2), Sebastian Whittle and Alexander Williams helped them to a 4-1 win over Bidford Juniors, Alex Oliver scoring the Bidford goal in the 2nd half. The Bidford management questioned some of the refereeing decisions in their post match report, but we would request that teams refrain from doing this and abide by the FA / Respect directives.

There was a thrilling match between Westbury Celtic Youth and Moreton Rangers at Droitwich Leisure Centre. Celtic scored though substitute Evan Ward, while Connor Hitchman hit the net for Rangers. The 1-1 score remained in Extra-Time so the game was decided on penalty kicks, Rangers winning 4-2 to go into the Semi-Final.

Lenches are the other team through after they won away at Welland Junior Colts.

Under 13 Pool A

In League action, Newtown Sports Juniors opened up an 8-point gap at the top with a 5-1 win at Tewkesbury Town Colts. The home side had Henry McMahon on the scoresheet but Newtown's response came from George Blannin (2), Charlie Duffett, Lewis Regan and Jack Sampson.

Under 13 Pool B

Welford Juniors Pumas came away from Cradley Sports with 3-point in a 6-2 final score. Goals from James Chilvers (2), Max Haudebourg (2),Oscar Grisenthwaite and Ben Procter lift the Pumas to 3rd place.
