Saturday 20th February:       Half-Term Fixtures

As the 2nd Saturday of the half-term break unfolded, there were 14 games that went ahead. Thank you to those teams that worked so hard to get these played.

Under 18 Division

Inkberrow Eagles flew to the top of the table, beating fellow title challengers Crowle Searchers Crusaders 2-0 at Crowle Village Hall.

 Broadway United Youth finally took to the turf as their stop-start season brought a 3-1 home win against Droitwich Spa Youth. The win lifts Broadway up to 4th spot, but with games in hand and an unbeaten league record, United are serious title contenders.

In the lower half of the table, Droitwich Spa Cobras won 8-0 at Welford Juniors.

Under 16 Pool A

Tewkesbury Town Pumas took an unexpected point in a 3-3 home draw with title challengers Inkberrow Eagles. The away goalscorers were Cian Adams and Oliver Venturi (2).

Under 14 Division

Badsey Rangers climb to joint 2nd after a 4-1 win at home to Pershore Town Bullets.

Leading the table are Shipston Excelsior who put their recent wobble behind them to record a 4-1 home win against Archdales '73.

Under 13 Pool C

Bretforton Juniors stretched their unbeaten run to four matches as they won at Evesham United Robins. Among the goalscorers were Harry Putnam (3) and Ethan Rimmer (2).

Under 12 Pool A

Warndon Villages Colts went back to the top of the table with a 4-1 success at Alcester Town Rangers, as Ethan Turner scored a hat-trick.

Under 12 Pool B

Oakenshaw Lions go back into pole position with a home victory over Badsey Rangers. The Lions were roared on their way with a hat-trick from Harry Bradley.

There is a likelihood of midweek matches after Easter, for the many teams who have a back-log of fixtures. With this in mind, we would encourage teams o look at their outstanding fixtures and contact your opponents as early as possible if you are considering playing outside of the usual Saturday morning program. If both teams mutually agree to a revised date, then please ensure you seek the permission of the League and inform our fixture Secretary Dave Hyde of the date and time of the match.

If any teams need to sign on additional players, you are reminded that the that the closing date for registering players for this season will be Monday 29th February 2016. To submit additional registrations or for any registration queries please contact our Registration Secretary, Dave Evans directly. There will be no extension to the deadline, so please ensure that you complete the necessary paperwork and return it as soon as possible.
