Saturday 27th February:       Normal Service Resumes!

It was a near full-set of fixtures as teams returned to action from the half-term break and the weeks of abysmal weather that has caused so much disruption to our program.

Under 18 Division

Pershore Town fell to a 5-1 defeat at Crowle Searchers Academicals, Lewis Payne hit the net for Town. The other Crowle team, Crowle Searchers Crusaders suffered a shock 3-2 home defeat to Cookley Sports, as 1st half goals from James Jones and Sam Tufft weren't enough to bring the Crusaders any points.

Under 15 Pool B

Droitwich Spa Tigers created two goals for Lucas Edmonds and Louis Watson to give them a 2-0 victory at Broadway United Youth. The assists went to Oliver Boyden and Ben Mason. The win puts the Spa Tigers level on points at the top with Lenches FC, who had a home win over Wychavon Wanderers. Lenches' Dillon Dudley-Hands, James Ewell, Leo Fleming and Finley Lewis all got on the scoresheet.

At Nunnery Wood Kestrels, the home side's Kieron Robinson hit a good goal but it wasn't enough to get a point as visitors Pershore Town Warriors replied through Tom Banks and Christopher Yapp to give them a narrow 2-1 advantage at full-time.

Under 14 Division

Welford Juniors held on for a 2-1 win at home to Bidford Juniors, the Welford scorers were Jacob Robinson and Robert Singer.

Under 13 Pool A

Bidford Juniors gained their 1st league win of the season as they shocked 2nd placed Blakedown Colts with a 3-0 victory. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bidford never looked back to gain three important points with two goals from Max Thomas a one from Jake Cannadine.

Newtown Sports Juniors drew 2-2 at Eckington Juniors Ospreys, both the Sports goals coming from George Blannin.

There was also a share of the points in the game between Ilmington United and Lenches FC as the sides ended the match at 2-2, with United's Henry Tombs bagging both goals. Incredibly, this is Ilmington's sixth draw of the season out of eleven games.

Tewkesbury Town Colts won at home to Moreton Rangers, where Henry McMahon got two of his sides goals.

Under 13 Pool B

2nd placed Eckington Juniors Eagles slipped to a 4-2 defeat at home to Welland Junior Lions. The Lions scoring through Harry Ferguson-Walker, William Hughes, Fraser Bird and Rhys Sanders.

Welford Juniors Pumas won at home to Littleton FC to lift Pumas up to 2nd, but they are still trying to narrow the 10-points gap between pace-setters Cookley Sports.

Under 13 Pool C

Bretforton Juniors stretched their unbeaten run to five matches as they won at home, with Harry Putnam getting four goals.

Westbury Celtic Youth remain top of the table after yet another away win. Evan Ward (2) and Joseph Bunyan on target for Celtic.

Under 12 Pool B

There was an intriguing game at Bidford Juniors as the hosts held on for a 3-2 win against Ilmington United. Goals from Harry Lewis, Edward Lillington and Simon Reynolds gave Bidford a welcome 3-points.

Crowle Searchers claimed a 4-2 home win after a Ned Harvey hat-trick and one from Tom Bryant.

Evesham United Robins had a narrow 3-2 home win over near neighbours Badsey Rangers. Two goals from Badsey's Stanley Kirby caused a few nervous moments for United, but they replied through Luke Hulme, Antonio Pirelli and Oliver Johns.

Moreton Rangers climb to 4th spot with a home win over Leigh & Bransford Badgers Palace, Toby Stevens got two of the Rangers goals in this one.

Under 12 Pool C

Leigh & Bransford Badgers Borough gave a great account of themselves at home to top of the table Worcester Colts, but the Colts claimed a 1-0 win with a goal from Ben Lilly.

The game between Littleton Juniors and Droitwich Spa Kestrels ended 4-2 to the away side, but the Kestrels management were very complimentary about how well Littleton had played. Littleton's Ash Naciri scored on 53-minutes, while Robert Atkinson got two of the four Kestrel goals.
