Leamington 4ths finished the season as champions winning promotion with an impressive 34 point margin.

Rowington elected to bat and made 185 for 7 in their 45 overs. Robert Lord bowled his usual tidy 10 overs for 41 showing glimpses of future potential. The brakes were put on the innings however by the old guard. Davison bowled tidily, Reliable old stager Shaun Williams achieved his 30 wicket season milestone, Rob Williams bowled a steady 7 overs taking 3 wickets and the addition of a creaky 6 over spell from Rob Ainscow ensured supplies of deep heat were severely depleted back in the dressing room.
The Leamington batsman seemed keen on getting back to party early with some extravagent shots ensuring regular wickets. At 105 for 8 things were looking dire, with only promising junior Henry Mortimer with 42 making any real impression.
One thing Leamington have in abundance however is experience, and the old guard of Rob Willliams and skipper Jocky Wilson showed grit and determination to score 75 for the last wicket and see the Spa side home for an unlikely win with 2 overs to spare.
