It was a return to action after the Christmas break as match week 15 took place on Saturday 11th January and here is a summary of the action: 

Under 18's

Only one U18 match beat the weather and Broadway United Youth moved up to 3rd spot with a 3-1 success over Morton Stanley Rangers.

Under 16's

Leaders Alveston were given the fright of their lives as they found themselves two nil down with a minute plus stoppage time remaining at home to visitors Pershore Town.

However the comeback of the season so far took place as a Max Taylor free-kick narrowed the deficit to 1 goal and then leading scorer Elliot Whittle bagged an equaliser to salvage a point in an unbelievable game!

There was also another drawn game as Ilmington United and Droitwich Hawks fought out a tremendous 4-4 draw at Mickleton Road.

Carrying on the theme of goals a plenty at this age group, Bidford Juniors came away from Tewkesbury Town with a 5-3 victory to push them into the top half of the table.

Under 15's A

Inkberrow Eagles moved joint top with a 4-2 home win over Alcester Town while Drakes Broughton Rangers secured their 1st League away win of the season as they came away from Shipston Excelsior 4-3 to the good.

Under 15's B

It's been a long wait for the boys of Bromsgrove Meadows, but they returned from their Christmas break to secure their 1st League win of the season as they overcame Pershore Town 5-3.

There were also home wins for Sheppey Swifts and Bidford Juniors, with the only away win coming from Crowle Searchers.

Under 14's A

Bidford Rangers enjoyed a 6-2 away win, securing their 4th win on the road this season and  catapulting them into 3rd place in the table.

Under 14's B

Welford Juniors latest win kept up their 100% record with 9 wins from 9 matches played and it seems only a matter of time before their automatic promotion is guaranteed.

Under 13's A

No matches played.

Under 13's B

 Droitwich Tigers got back to winning ways after three consecutive draws, to win at home 4-1, which puts them top of the table, but having played two more games than their nearest rivals.

Over at Church Lench, Lenches and Evesham Colts shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

Leaders Under 13's C

No matches played.

Under 12's A

Bidford Juniors and Shipston Excelsior both secured home wins and Badsey Rangers latest away win keeps them at the top of the table.

Under 12's B

Wellend Junior Lions maintained their 100% record with a home victory to stay ahead of the chasing pack for promotion, but Eckington Eagles stay in hot pursuit with a 4-1 away win.

Lenches and Tewkesbury Town Pumas played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Pinvin.

Under 11's A

Congratulations to Winchcombe Town Youth who got their 1st League win of the season with a 2-0 home victory.

Also winning at home were League leaders, Welford Juniors Pumas stay top with a 5-1 win.

Under 11's B

There was something of a shock at Oversley Green as home side Alcester Town Juniors won 3-2 over 2nd placed Broadway United Youth.

The other 2 matches also produced home wins as Campden Town and Bidford Juniors both earned 3-points.


Under 11's C

With the bad weather forcing the match scheduled at Morton Rangers ground to be postponed, the game was switched to their opponents ground at Church Lane, home of Droitwich Scorpions and both teams earned a point in a really entertaining 2-2 draw.

In the only other game, Tewkesbury Town Panthers gained 3-points on the road.

Under 10’s A

No matches played.

Under 10’s B

Badsey Rangers 3-0 away win moves them up to 3rd, while Crowle Juniors gained maximum points at home with a narrow 2-1 win.

Under 10’s C

Broadway United Youth's 5-2 home win moves them to 2nd spot and into the promotion places.
