Austin Ex Apps go Top of the Table

In the Premier Division today Austin Ex Apps have taken their place at the top of the table with their  7-2 win over CBH Fasteners. Richard Deeming scored a hat-trick for Austin and 2 goals by Josh Westwood helped them to winning ways.
In Division 1, there was a top of the table clash against Studley Railway and Red Lion. Red Lion beat Studley Railway 2-1 to help them move 5 points apart with both teams playing for 3 points on Wednesday Evening.
In the other games in this division it was a battle between the two Redditch teams coming head to head in a close match. Redditch Cross lost 3-2 to Redditch Town. Winyates Wanderers beat Redolence Park 6-1 and VKL lost 3-0 to New Woodland Cottage. 
In the penultimate week of the Subsidiary Cup Royal Oak Alcester beat AFC Lions 3-2 and South Redditch drew 1-1 with OKH Sporting Dynamo in group 1.
In group 2 Rubery Bridge beat Lodge Park 3-1 to take them to 15 points at the top of their group securing themselves their space in the Semi Final.
In group 3, Rubery Legends drew 3-3 with Beoley Village. 
This week we have 2 cup finals being played. On Tuesday 3 May we will see the BSA cup final OKH Sporting Dynamo v CBH Fasteners at Studley Sports Club, 7pm kick off.  On Thursday 5 May the Hunt Crane Cup Final will see New Woodland Cottage v Millfield Rovers, again at Studley Sports Club, 7pm kick off.  Good luck to everyone involved. ⚽️
