Black Horse seized the initiative at the top of the Redditch & South Warwickshire Premier Division, following up a 2 goal Dale Edwards inspired 3-1 midweek victory over Wychbold RBL, with a dominating 6-1 victory over big rivals Church Hill, where Dan Carter and Steven Roche both scored twice. The result leaves last seasons Runners Up needing just one win from their last two games against South Redditch and fellow title hopefuls Austin Ex Apprentices, to take the title.

An tornado tore though the hunt for the Division One Crown, ripping up the form book  as the top two both lost and blew the title race wide open again. Matty Layton has earned himself as the title of “title dream destroyer” as for the second week running, it was his match winning hat trick for Alcester Town that dented title hopefuls CBH Fasteners chances in a 3-2 victory. Leaders Millfield Rovers took a first half lead at home to lowly Beoley Village, but supersub Louie O’Connor introduced at half time, equalised on the hour mark and then won the game in the 88th minute with his second. Alvechurch Sunday are hunting down the leading pack as Brogan Halpin’s two goals were the difference in a 4-2 victory over SHTP. Rocklands moved back in to second as Jamie Gifford scored twice in a 3-2 win over Lodge Park RA.

In Division two, OKH Sporting Dynamo have it all to do next week as only a win will do at home to Abbeydale, as Sporting Club Redditch could do no more than they did, defeating wooden spoon winners VKL United 13-1, Shaun Maynard finishing the season with 6 more to his season tally.
