Bret had a day to forget as Newent - welcoming back several key players - stuck to their game plan to great effect, where Brets fell apart around their (bruised) ears.

Conceding one goal in the first half, the home side looked to up their game in the second but to no avail this weekend.

In a game of few positives, Tess Lewinton's beautifully struck goal shone like a beacon but, although they had chances, Bret were totally outplayed today and conceded another three goals for their worst result of the season.

After much post match debate the squad decided that they were - indeed - crap today and vowed to put this result behind them and pull up their collective pink socks for next weeks away game to Hereford.

It has to be said however that this is Brets first season back in Prem 2A and they are still in a very highly respectable second place in the league and - again already said but - if this is their worst result in FIFTEEN games then they must be doing something right.

Ever onwards ladies, ever onwards !!
