Broadway (274 -8) beat Leamington III (200) by 74 runs.

A third consecutive defeat pushed Leamington III perilously close to the Premier Division relegation zone.  A Broadway innings in three parts, featuring two soloists and a competent supporting cast, composed a total of 274-8.

Clements (58) lead the way to 100-1 before Lee Credgington (3-55) converted that in to 113-4.

At this point, second soloist Hampston (96) lead the score to 261-5.  A flurry of three wickets in the last two overs gave Leamington a fourth valuable bonus point.  Simon Magill (34) lead the Leamington reply but he left with the score at 56 and when David Lord (20) followed with the score at 81 two more wickets fell at the same score, effectively ending Leamington’s challenge.

Manpreet Gill (66) and Kevin Williams (41) staged a recovery towards respectability, and some valuable form.  A wide off the last ball of the 38th over brought up 200 and five further points.  Next ball the final wicket fell.
