Littleton created a major shock by beating the runaway League Leaders on their own patch by 4 - 1.  Before the game Brocton had won 13 of their 15 league games played and drawn the other 2.

There was nothing lucky for freakish in the scoreline as for the first hour Littleton completely dominated the game.  At half time the surprise was that Littleton were only 1 up, it could and perhaps should have been 3 or 4.

Littleton took the lead on 2 mins.  A centre from WILL GAYTON was headed down by ALEX BAIRD into the patch of STUART HALL who converted from close range.  Littleton continued to press, GAYTON had an effort smothered on the line.  From a GAYTON corner a BAIRD header brought a full length save from the home keeper  The fusilade of shots continued with HALL going close, a fierce KYONN EVANS drive beaten out and a RICHARD TOMKINS drive saved at full length at the foot of the post.

Three goals in the first 7 mins of the second half rushed the visitors into a 4 - 0 lead.  A sweeping move lead to HALL feeding EVANS who converted with ease.  EVANS returned the compliment by setting up HALL for his second.  A NATHAN HAYWARD cross was headed in by BAIRD to make it four.

Following this Brocton threw caution to the wind and put Littleton under intence pressure, MAHON pulled one back on the hour. They hit the woodwork and had one disallowed but gradually burnt themselves out HAYDN WHITCOMBE in Littletons goal was outstanding as was the back four of GLEN SITCH, ADAM GUEST, SIMON FITTER & RICHARD TOMKINS.

On Saturday Littleton are away again this time to Nuneaton Griff K.O. 3.00pm.
