Under 17s

Banbury Under 17s played a hard fought friendly against Stow, winning a close game 12 - 8. Banbury had a lot of the early pressure but it was not until the pack put in some good work that Charlie Allerton opened the scoring.  Stow replied with a penalty but before half time Banbury extended their lead with a try by Sean Hampson, converted by Sam Manning.  Both sides struggled with the weather in the second half with many an unforced error from both sides. However, it was Stow who scored a late try to bring the result into doubt, but Banbury held on for a good win.
