North Midlands will face Kent, Devon and Somerset in the South Pool of next season’s County Championship Bill Beaumont Cup Second Division.

North Midlands missed out on promotion to the top tier of the competition last season and will face two away matches, beginning with a trip to Kent on May 7, in next season’s campaign.

North Midlands will be at home to Devon on May 14 and will then travel to play Somerset, who they beat 48-19 at Stourbridge last season, on May 21.

Venues for all three pool matches have yet to be confirmed.

The top team in the pool will be promoted and will face the winners of the North Pool, which contains East Midlands, Leicestershire, Durham and Northumberland, in the County Championship Plate final at Twickenham on May 29.
