Gemma Lewis, Old Leamingtonians Ladies Head Coach has been appointed as Head Coach for the Warwickshire Ladies squad.

Only established three seasons ago the Warwickshire ladies team has been going from strength to strength and Gemma’s appointment will bring a wealth of experience to the set-up.

Having previously been involved in the West Midlands regional squad Gemma had this to say “We have a lot of talent in our county and I want to showcase this with a successful county squad. From my experience I understand what players need to do to excel in women’s rugby, I’d love to see more of our home grown talent reach regional and national level rugby; this is the first step for them on that journey”.

Last season Old Leamingtonians Ladies had over 13 players selected for Warwickshire and Scrum half Rebecca Carter progressed through to West Midlands, they will be hoping to continue that success this season.
