This was a game of two halves; in the first Littleton were slow and lethargic, but were galvinised in the second and should have taken at least a point.

On a good playing surface, both teams were able to play the ball around, but it was the home team who looked more dangerous, Littleton resorting to the long ball.

It came as no surprise when Copsewood took the lead.  A free kick on the edge of the box was played square to WIMBUSH whose shot beat the unsighted SMITH.

The second came on 42 mins, a messy goal, the defence failing to clear, again WIMBUSH the scorer.

Littleton came out determined and CORNES hit the bar within 5 mins of the restart.  On 54 mins a clever move saw HICKS feed STUART HALL who scored from close range.  It was now game on HALL again went through beat two men and the scuffed his shot. The same player again went close on 76 mins.

The visitors won a succession of corners and free kicks, and there was some desperate defending in the home penalty area.

In the last minute MARTIN SLEVIN burst through, but his powerful drive was straight at the keeper.

Littleton are home on Saturday to PELSALL VILLA K.O. 3.00pm
