North Midlands Cup holders Old Halesonians could meet Whitchurch in re-run of last season’s final in the first round of the 2015/16 competition.

Old Halesonians, who won the county cup for the first time in May, will start their defence of the trophy with a home tie where they will meet the winners of the preliminary round contest between Hereford and Whitchurch.

The other preliminary round tie will see Worcester Wanderers host Bournville with the winners having home advantage against Bridgnorth in the first round (quarter finals).

Bridgnorth have moved up to the North Midlands Cup having won promotion to Midlands One West having won the North Midlands Shield for the third consecutive season in May.

Evesham, who won the North Midlands Vase last season, have also moved up to the Shield for next season and will begin their campaign with a home preliminary round tie against Ludlow on August 29.

North Midlands Cup

Preliminary round draw: Hereford v Whitchurch, Worcester Wanderers v Bournville. Ties to be played on August 29.

First round draw: Newport v Dudley Kingswinford, Worcester Wanderers or Bournville v Bridgnorth, Bromsgrove v Birmingham & Solihull, Old Halesonians v Hereford or Whitchurch. Ties to be played on October 17 or 31 or by January 2.

North Midlands Shield

Preliminary round draw: Pershore v Edwardians, Evesham v Ludlow, Cleobury Mortimer v Ledbury, Woodrush v Clee Hill. Ties to be played on August 29.

First round draw: Old Yardleians v Old Saltleians (August 29), Kidderminster Carolians v Droitwich (August 29), Cleobury Mortimer or Ledbury v Veseyans (September 5), Oswestry v Harborne (August 29), Camp Hill v Pershore or Edwardians (September 5), Moseley Oak v Evesham or Ludlow (September 5), Woodrush or Clee Hill v Malvern (September 5), Shrewsbury v Stourbridge Lions (August 29).

North Midlands Vase

First round: Tenbury Wells v Dudley Wasps, Five Ways OE v Ross on Wye, Chaddesley Corbett v Greyhound, Warley v Birmingham Exiles. Ties to be played on August 29.

Second round draw: Tenbury or Dudley Wasps v Church Stretton, Five Ways OE or Ross v Kings Norton, Chaddesley Corbett or Greyhound v Redditch, Warley or Birmingham Exiles v Market Drayton, Aston OE v Yardley & District, Telford Hornets v Bromyard, Aldridge v Upton on Severn, Bishop’s Castle v Bredon Star. Ties to be played on September 5.
