British Showjumping is pleased to announce the Team Fairfax Pony European Championship Squad representing Great Britain at the forthcoming FEI Pony European Jumping Championships, which will be held during the 29th July – 3rd August 2014 at Millstreet in Ireland.

Charlotte Ash, aged 15 from Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear with her mother Shirley’s 10 year-old bay gelding Aughnashammer 

Harry Charles, aged 15 from Alton, Hampshire with his father Peter’s 17 year-old grey gelding Aroldo

Alex Gill, aged 16 from Northallerton, North Yorkshire with Lynn Barker’s 10 year-old dark bay gelding Ammanvalley Santino 

Jared Lunn, aged 15 from Hawkwell, Essex with his father Richard’s 11 year-old piebald mare Javas Alun

Emily Ward, aged 15 from Neston, Cheshire with her father Nick’s 9 year-old chestnut gelding King Mac

Competition starts on Thursday 31st July with Team medals being decided on Friday 1st August and Individual medals on Sunday 3rd August.                                                                                                                                    

The British Team will compete under the guidance of their Chef d’Equipe, Katrina Moore.

The British Youth teams are sponsored by Fairfax Saddles. It is Fairfax’s primary aim to improve the performance of the competition horse. All the saddles and girths are developed using the most advanced technology and are tested extensively. All research and design work is carried out under the direction of Vanessa Fairfax, an ex-International showjumper and University qualified designer.
