It’s been a very hectic week for Festival of Sport Events. With the Evesham hools Bell Boating Regatta held last Wednesday where the kids had a fabulous day out with races and challenges throughout the day.
Indoor Hockey and Sunday League Football were on offer during the rest of the week [censored] minating in a host of activ [censored] over the weekend.
Evesham Table Tennis Club offered a free session on Saturday at Wallace House with free Tennis for all available on Sunday morning at the Rowing Club. Alternatively you could try your hand at Petanque in Workman Gardens.
Sunday afternoon saw the Matt Brace Memorial Tag Rugby tournament contested where a magnificent £1,500 was raised.
Evesham’s swimming pool was in demand on Sunday with Evesham Swimming Clubs Centenary Swimming Gala taking place and Evesham Lifesaving Clubs Interclub Gala saw 80 youngsters demonstrating various skills and techniques.
A social evening was held on Saturday at the Rugby Club with teams taking part in a ‘Fun Sports Quiz’ money raised from the evening was donated to the Matt Brace Memorial Fund.
