Two further one-day events have taken place in the 2015 Wychavon Parish Games.

On Monday, 67 runners from 13 Parishes took part in the Cross Country event at Pershore High School.  The six runners from Fladbury were clear winners with just 77 points, with Eckington finishing in second with 149 points.  They were closely followed by Birlingham with 152 points, Bretforton on 168 points and Badsey with 194.   Other Parishes taking part were Pinvin, Drakes Broughton, Wyre Piddle, Crowle, Hill & Moor, Wick, Harvington and Inkberrow.

Overall individual winner was Jonny Jones from Fladbury, with Andy  Train, also from Fladbury in second place.

On Sunday, 13 Parishes - the largest entry ever in this event - took part in the Men's Five-a-Side event, which took place at Badsey Recreation Ground.  Split into two leagues, competition was really tough, with one result going to a penalty shoot out to decide the placings.

Eventually, Broadway emerged as winners, beating runners up Drakes Broughton by 2 goals to 1. Eckington were in third, beating Offenham into fourth place. Inkberrow had a walk over over Bretforton to take 5th place. Other Parishes taking part were Wyre Piddle, Fladbury, Pinvin, Pebworth, Crowle, Hill & Moor and Badsey.

The next one-day event is the Petanque, which takes place on Sunday on the piste at Waterside in Evesham.
