Kenilworth RFC announce that former player Wayne Morgan will take over coaching duties from Jonny Cresswell who is returning to live in Ampthill.
At Friday's Annual Dinner, Kenilworth Rugby Club bid a fond farewell to Head Coach and Captain Jonny Cresswell who will be returning with his family to his home town of Ampthill after a spell of 5 years with the Glasshouse Lane Club.

'Cressa' joined Kenilworth for the 2010 – 2011 season which saw the Club relegated from National 3 Midlands but also saw him taking the Players Player of the Year award as a consequence of his stand out play and complete commitment to the cause. That level of personal commitment continued throughout the following 4 years at a time of considerable Club re-structure which has seen many former Mini, Junior and Colts players make their successful transition into the 1st XV squad, promotion as Champions into Midlands West 1 and consolidation in that league.
''Cressa, either as a player, Forwards Coach or more latterly, Head Coach has always given 100% to the Club and his presence will be greatly missed.''
Jonny Cresswell will be replaced as Head Coach by former Rugby Lions and Kenilworth three-quarter Wayne Morgan whose first stint at Kenilworth began during the 1992-93 season. One of the club's most influential players of the nineties, Wayne played a significant part in the rise of the club through the leagues and went on to become Club Captain. On his retirement as a player in 02/03, Wayne re-joined his first Club, Rugby St Andrews, to become Coach. It is from the Saints that he re-news his fond relationship with Kenilworth RFC.
