Under 17s

Banbury Under 17s won a very entertaining game against local rivals Shipston.

After conceding an early try Banbury scored three first half tries by Charlie Allerton, Harry Smith and Coenie Else. Despite playing against a strong wind in the second half Banbury extended their lead with a second try by Smith, and one by Barney Galliffe.  With some flowing moves Banbury might have added to the score but still ran out comfortable winners 29 - 5.

Under 15s

Banbury Under 15s hosted Northampton Old Scouts in their first game of the season.

Banbury started well and were 14-0 up after the first 20 minutes. A charge down by Kieran Capell saw Rory Shaw dive on the ball to score the first try. George Capel added the 2nd Banbury try and conversion. Old Scouts came back fighting bringing the game to 14-12. Unfortunately Banbury had a number of injuries and were forced to play players out of position against obviously strong opposition. Old Scouts went onto score a few further tries and conversions making the final score 14-36.

Under 14s

Banbury Under 14s suffered a heavy defeat at home on Sunday by 7 points to 40 against a strong Witney side.

A brief comeback by Banbury saw an Archie Mallock try and conversion come too late in the second half following some excellent hands from the backs.
