Littleton played their first game for 8 weeks and it showed in a lack lustre performance against second place Nuneaton Griff.

The fixture was brought forward because of the dropping out of the league of Castle Vale, but it meant Littleton were without several players.

On a windy afternon on a sticky surface it was never going to be a classic, but the first 25 mins was very even, with both teams testing each other.  Then a super goal from Nuneatons No.9 gave them the lead.  The ball was laid back to him on the edge of the box and he hit a powerful drive which went in off the inside of the post.  However 2 mins later the same player was sent off, for the rest of the half the visitors coped quite easily with Littletons attack.

Immediately on the restart the visitors made it 2 - 0 a back pass across field was intercepted by the visitors No. 10 who hit it first time from the edge of the box into the top corner.

This threw Littletons out of their stride and for 20 mins or so they were quite unable to make any headway.  With 15 mins to go they woke up and started to exert some pressure.  A cross from MATT MITCHELL was headed down by KEVIN INGRAM to STUART HALL who shot over.  The same player did score with 4 mins to go, converting from close range, after ADAM GUEST  had hit the bar.  It was however too little too late.

Littleton are home to Feckenham on Saturday K.O. 3.00pm and the following Tuesday March 4th away to Studley K.O. 7.45pm.
