Littleton's poor run of results continued when they went down 3 - 2 at home to Earlswood.  At one time they were 3 - 0 in arrears but staged a mini revival and got back to 3 - 2 but turned out be to too little too late.

After leaking goals in the previous games and the loss of JAMIE INSALL to Westfields, their leading goal scorer, Littleton opted for a more defensive formation.  The initial signs were encouraging and an early move saw STUART HALL fire just wide.  However the visitors also went close a DANNY DEEHAN piledriver flew just over the bar and a shot hit the post.

The turning point came on 35 mins when Earlswood were awarded a surprise penalty which was converted by ROY DUNKLEY.  On the stroke of half time LEE DUNKLEY added a second.

Worse was to follow immediately on the restart LEE DUNKLEY again scoring.

Littleton looked dead and buried and indeed Earlswood should have added a fourth but over elaborated in front of goal.

On 65 mins Littleton were awarded a penalty and STUART HALL scored from the spot.  Earlswood became a little twitchy as Littleton sensed a chance to get back into the game.  Within 5 mins to go KYONN

EVANS put STUART HALL through and he made no mistake from close range. However it was not to be as Earlswood hung on to win.

Littleton play their 10th home league game out of a seasons tally of 18 on Saturday when they entertain SOUTHAM K.O. 3.00.
