On this remembrance Sunday we all showed our respects in one way or another to the fallen. It was good to see pictures of the teams stood together in unison holding their silence.
When the games kicked off we had a good mixture of results and goals scored. Lodge Park beat Beoley Village 5-0 with two goals each from Terry Nolan and Peter Murphy moving them up in the table.
Redditch Cross beat Redditch Town 3-0 keeping them in fourth place in the table. The goals were scored by Luke Taylor-Jones, Jake Walton and James Priddle.
CBH Fasteners beat VKL Utd 9-1 with a hat trick from both Sean Parish and Nathan Davies taking their goal tally up to 33 so far this season.
Golden Cross beat South Redditch 1-0 and SO Goose Greenlands beat Shakespeare Studley 5-2 helped by a hat-trick by Darby.
New Woodland Cottage beat SCC Redolence 5-0 with a hat-trick by Stuart Price and 2 from Adam Crombie and Studley Swan beat AFC Lions 3-2.
This afternoon at 1pm Austin Ex Apps met Black Horse in the FA National Sunday Cup. The match went to the wire after the first half was an even half with few chances.  The second half Black Horse took the lead in the 49th minute from the penalty spot and then 6 minutes later Jak Walton equalised. This score line remained the same until 14 minutes from the end when Black Horse scored again. This seemed to spur Austin on and they scored their next two goals in 3 minutes and held the score to the end. Well done Austin for progressing to the next stage.
