For the second time this season, an eagerly awaited local derby fell foul of the weather, as Leamington's match against Stoneleigh was abandoned in mid afternoon.

Paul Wilson lost the toss and his Leamington side were asked to bat first in conditions ideal for bowling. None of the batsmen made a telling contribution, though many got a start, with only Sam Forster's 27, dominating Stoneleigh's probing attack.
With the score on 105 - 8, the much heralded thunder and lightning arrived, and the match was abandoned with Stoneleigh in a dominant position. Griffin's 3 for 23 was the stand out performance for the visitors.
The result leaves Leamington and Stoneleigh tied at the top of the league!
