WOLVERHAMPTON and Sevenoaks will meet in the final of the National Under 17 Cup at the AJ Bell Stadium, home of Sale Sharks, on Sunday May 4.

Wolverhampton reached the final by edging out Hull Ionians in a tense semi-final yesterday.

The sides drew 14-14 at Doncaster’s Castle Park but Wolverhampton won a kicking contest to book their place in the final.

Sevenoaks progressed to the final by beating Newton Abbot 23-3 in their semi-final at Henley’s Dry Leas ground.

In the National Under 17 Plate Amersham & Chiltern also progressed to finals day by beating Old Albanians in kicking contest after the scores were level at 19-19 in their semi-final at Henley.

Amersham & Chiltern will now meet Driffield, who beat Moseley 7-5 at Doncaster, in the final at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Crediton will face Market Bosworth in the final of the National Under 17 Bowl at the AJ Bell Stadium. Crediton beat Aylesford Bulls 20-10 at Henley while Market Bosworth defeated Bury 27-19 at Doncaster.

In the National Under 17 Shield Dartfordians beat Camborne 43-17 at Henley and Blaydon beat Towcestrians 33-8 at Doncaster to complete the Finals Day line up at AJ Bell Stadium.
