North Midlands will face a trip to Thorne near Doncaster for their National Under-20 Championship quarter-final against Yorkshire on March 27.

Yorkshire, the defending champions,  have chosen Thornensians RFC’s Church Balk ground as the venue for the tie with a 2.30pm kick off.

North Midlands missed out on a home quarter-final tie when they finished as runners-up to East Midlands in their pool.

North Midlands pair Stourbridge Lions and Ledbury will both be away in their respective Midlands finals of RFU cup competitions later this month.

Stourbridge Lions face a Black Country derby at Wolverhampton in the Midlands final of the RFU Intermediate Cup while Ledbury will travel to Northamptonshire to face Oundle in the regional final of the RFU Senior Vase.

The matches are scheduled to be played either on March 26 or 27.

The winners will progress to the national semi-finals where they will meet the North champions in their respective competitions.
