After their mid-week heroics against Stourport Littleton had another tough game, away to second place Nuneaton Griff.

Littleton had the very strong wind at their back for the first half but had difficulty measuring their passes.  They did however take the lead on 11 mins CALLUM CLARK passed to STUART HALL  who knocked it down for WILL GAYTON to hook in from 12 yards.  This was cancelled out by a harsh penalty awarded on 15 mins.  On 20 mins a diving header from MATT MITCHELL crashed against the bar, and the hosts broke quickly and went ahead following an own goal.  Still the play went from end to end but Nuneaton went 3 - 1 following a clever back-heel from a corner.

On 52 mins things got worse for Littleton as Nuneaton went 4 - 1 up Littleton however continued to press and KYONN EVANS was twice denied by their man of the match DAVE WATSON in the home goal.

Their pressure paid off on 70 mins STUART HALL hitting a powerful shot on the turn to make it 4 - 2.  This was cancelled out by a fifth for Nuneaton following a inswinging corner.

Undeterred Littleton continued to attack and on 80 mins made it 5 - 3 HALL again being the scorer. They continued to press and brought another super save from WATSON.

On the stroke of full time a sweet half volley from CALLUM CLARKE made it 5 - 4.  There was still time for a STEVE EDGHILL flick to hit the post and roll agonisingly clear.

On Saturday Littleton are home to BLACKWOOD K.O. 3.00pm
