The smell of freshly brewed coffee and bacon rolls, the noisy chatter of parents and excited kids as they run out on the green fields can only mean one thing: Old Leamingtonians Mini & Junior rugby season has kicked off again at The Crofts.
A great buzz returned to the club as the kids returned in force after their summer break with friendships being renewed (in person not through Xbox) before the coaches blew off the cobwebs with their first training session. 2013/14 season was an exceptional year on and off the pitch with membership growing, festival wins, tours, social events and even a junior international! We hope that all players irrespective of their experience or ability enjoy “rugby” and want to be part of the OLRFC family. It promises to be an exciting year as next summer England will be hosting the Rugby World Cup and there will be many organized events in the build-up.
Registration will continue to take place over the next few weeks, we are a thriving section and have teams from Under 6s through to Under 17s and Colts and we welcome anyone who wants to give rugby a try!
Training takes place every Sunday morning at 10.30 -1200 at The Crofts, our great facilities and grounds on Bericote Road (CV32 6QP) if you require additional information please look on our website ( or email
