This was a game between the Division's highest scorers Littleton 51 against the division's leakiest defence Pelsall 53.  The result should therefore have been an away win, however it did not quite work out that way.

Littleton kicked down the considerable slope in the first half, and put the home defence under intense pressure, although it took them 20 mins to open the scoring. A fast break down the right saw STUART HALL cross to NATHAN HAYWARD who slotted home.  Two minutes later a LEON KANDERKORE shot was smothered by the keeper, and then a superb long ball pass from GLENN SITCH found KYONN EVANS his cross was hammered in by HALL but well saved by the keeper.

In the meantime Littleton had to substitute the influential SIMON FITTER  who had received a heavy blow on the shoulder.

Then on 33 mins the hosts had their first shot BATTESSON shooting from outside the box.  The ball took a wicked deflection off a defender and flew into the net giving the keeper no chance.  Five mins later the same player scored again a header from a corner, after he was left unmarked.

The second half was a much more even affair, with Pelsall probably having the better of the play Littletons best chance came in the very last minute a RICHARD TOMKINS 25yd half volley flashing past the post.  Littleton were left to reflect on what might have been.

On Saturday Littleton are away again this time to run away league leaders Brocton K.O. 3.00pm.  They have provisionally arranged a Worcester Urn game v Stourport Swifts on Tuesday 10th December K.O. 7.45pm.
