At last we had some football played today! And what good games they were.

In the First Division we had two games played.  Redditch Town beat AFC Lions 3-1 with 2 of their 3 goals being scored by Chris Adams and in the other game Royal Oak Alcester narrowly beat VKL 1-0.

We can now confirm the first team in the Keith Turner Cup Final is OKH Sporting after beating CBH Fasteners 2-1 in a scrappy but evenly played game. OKH went ahead by a Richard Dugmore goal, then to see OKH pulled it to 1-1 just before half time, goal by Callum Davies. OKH took the lead through a looping header from Chris Tranter at the back post which secured their place.

In the Studley Charity Cup Semi Final, Beoley Village secured their place in the final after beating Coldstream 3-2 after extra time. Coldstream took advantage of the pitch slope taking a deserved 1-0 lead into half time, after the team hitting the woodwork 3 times. Beoley took the game after the break and equalised through Nathan Hurley after 60 minutes. Ten minutes later Beoley Village scored again after the assistant referee spotted the ball had just crossed the line.  Coldstream battled back and brought the scores level with 10 minutes remaining taking the game into extra time. 25 minutes into this, Sean Meek calmly slotted home from the penalty spot.  The Studley Charity Cup Final will be played on Thursday 17 March.

In the Hunt Crane Cup, Lodge Park have progressed to Round 2 after beating Redolence Park 5-3 with 4 of their 5 goals being scored by Terry Nolan. In Round 2, New Woodland Cottage have made their way into Round 3 by narrowly beating Redditch Cross 5-4 after Alex Bibb inspired them to a hard fought game thanks to his assist and 2 (1 of which was a 30 yard screamer) goals.

We can also say well done to Black Horse with their progress in the FA National Sunday Cup after beating FC Houghton 6-2.
