On an extremely windy day Stourbridge faced a visiting side determined to turn their season around, From the kick off Droitwich launched a powerful attack which The Lions did well to  withstand.

However within a few minutes the home side had got a grip of the energetic visiting side and centre Aaron Boffey scored with Sam Wilson adding the extra points. In quick time Boffey’s centre partner Jack Deakin showed fast feet to evade the defence and add to the score but the kick was missed. Duncan Chance added a tenth try to his season tally and Sam Wilson once more added the extras. With a few minutes to half time Aaron Boffey was sin binned reducing Stourbridge to fourteen men. Rob Scott - Walker kicked the penalty to further punish the home side.

From the start of the second half Droitwich continually sought to use the gale force wind to relieve pressure on their line only to find the kick returned at pace by a lively Lions side.Following some excellent offloads and interchanges the Lions put Duncan Chance over once more to secure the bonus point. The conversion was missed but the disappointment was short lived when an Aaron Boffey break put winger James Mitchell clear and his pace was too much for the covering defence. The game was over but the otherwise excellent Boffey dropped a pass which the Droitwich terriers scooped up to secure a consolation try. Joy was short-lived for the Town as Dan Shrimpton finished the game with another try for The Lions. Stourbridge entertain Old Coventrians at Stourton Park next Saturday.
