This weekend has been nothing short of extraordinary! Beyond our wildest dreams and expectations.

Even though part of an engine mount and bolts broke on Fri, which could have ended any hopes of racing in BRITCAR, Richard Tovey and his amazing crew from NEWBRIDGE MOTORSPORT worked their magic and gave the lads their amazingly reliable VW Golf to show everyone what they can do.

We entered the 2 x 90min MSA Dunlop Endurance Series race on Sat 25th. After starting in last place due to a visit to the gravel in qualifying, we finished P1 in class – 11 laps ahead of P2 and P5 overall.

Furthermore, Danny Holland was awarded “Driver of the Day” for his outstanding driving.

To top off an amazing debut in Britcar, James Tucker and Claire Hedley invited us to enter the Britcar Trophy on Sun 26th – 2 x 45mins races.

Our faithful VW Golf was thoroughly checked to make sure the fix of the engine mount was holding up and the next round of races began.

In heavy rain, even though two of the cars in our class were a Porsche and Scirocco, we achieved a fantastic P1 in qualifying.

The first 45min race was another P1 in class for the lads – P5 overall.

Starting the second 45min race in P5, Mark Allen drove a blistering race in difficult conditions, bringing the car home P1 in class again – P5 overall.

Britcar were so impressed that they nominated Mark as Driver of the Day for Sat.

Our beyond-belief run of P1’s, against all odds for Rookies, is now up to 5 x P1’s – a P1 in class in every race meeting we’ve entered!

We want to thank Britcar, especially James and Claire, for their support and for making this weekend possible for the lads. We’re really looking forward to the rest of the Britcar season.

We also need to thank Richard, Markus and Victor from Newbridge Motorsport for giving the lads a winning car – when it was on the verge of being retired.

We now need to find a way to replace the engine before our next race – only a week away on Sun 2nd Aug in the ENDURANCE RACING SERIES.

LE MANS 24hr KARTING

11th & 12th JULY

This is one of the most popular 24hr kart races on the annual race calendar.

We entered 2 teams, that qualified 9th & 30th on a very hot summers day in central France.

After a gruelling 24hrs of outstanding racing the lads brought their karts home in a very impressive 7th place - our highest finish in a 24hr race - and 29th, after series of unlucky incidents.

The lads enjoyed having a good tour of the city, as well as the world famous race track - a key factor for us when we race overseas.

If you're looking for a top kart race in rental karts, this is the race for you and your friends.  TEESSIDE KARTING are offering a £1,000 discount for any one booking up now.

LORD MAYOR’S CITY KARTING GRAND PRIX

SUN 26th JULY

It was a huge honour to have been invited to enter a team to represent the Livery of The Vintry and Dowgate Wards Club.

The lads did KartForce proud and delivered nothing short of a spectacular result.

Doris, Stevie and Mark G qualified in P1 and finished P1, even after a 6 lap penalty.
We would like to thank our good friend and supporter – an ex-Cavalryman – Edward Goodchild for putting us forward and for Alderman Alison Gowman for inviting us to take part.

It’s these events that allow our lads to boldly display their amazing karting skills and should everyone that “You don’t need all your limbs to race… JUST BRITISH BULLDOG SPIRIT!”

KARTFORCE SCOTLAND

26th JULY

For the first time, Team KartForce Scotland entered a team in the Crail monthly Prokart series.

As we only have 1 kart in Scotland, it was an amazingly generous gesture from 14 year old Karla to loan the lads her kart.

The lads came in a very happy 6th place, which is very impressive considering half the team are Rookies.

The lads from KartForce Scotland are in training to enter the British 24hr on 15th & 16th August, aiming for a good team result.
