WCL player of the week last week Sam Healey of Ambleside his 8 for 31 topped the play cricket hours boards and the WCL best performance list.

If you want to get on that honours board then the scorecard needs to be complete on play cricket on Wednesday evening, and you need to be accept communications from the ECB in your profile on play cricket, otherwise you can score a lot and get loads of wickets and not appear.

The WCL is now in full swing and the tables are starting to take shape. The Premier Division and Division 1 both look very close at the moment with only Handsworth in the top 2 divisions with 4 wins from 4. They however only lead mid table by 17 points, Ambleside 6th on 62. Division 1 has Highway and Pak Shaheen on 3 wins with Coleshill, Knowle Village and Fillongley a few points behind.

Handsworth latest opponents were Ambleside who made 189 all out, not enough as the visitors knocked these off in 38 overs for the loss of 5. All matches in the Premier division ended win / lose this week with the closest being at Hampton where the visitors Four Oaks Saints made 259 for 9 (Qadir 70, Brome 86). The Hoe side however made the runs in 47.2 overs thanks in the main to a partnership of 181 between Mark and Matthew James (87 and 90 respectively). This result hauled Hampton off the bottom.
