W&H Add Seven for North Midlands Test

Worcestershire & Herefordshire have added seven players to their squad for the training match against North Midlands at Bromsgrove’s Finstall Park ground on Wednesday May 4 (7.30pm).

The match has been arranged to help Worcestershire & Herefordshire to prepare for their Iskitz Three Counties Championship final against Shropshire at Newport on May 14 and to allow North Midlands to play a game before their County Championship opener against Kent at Canterbury on May 7.

Worcestershire & Herefordshire beat Shropshire 57-10 in their opening Three Counties group match last week and have added players who were not available last week to their squad to face North Midlands.

Dudley Kingswinford wing James Jefferson, Worcester Wanderers prop Dave Whiting, Evesham lock Joe Cafeiro, Woodrush scrum-half Richard Thomas and hooker Anton Taylor, Evesham fly-half Mike Diston and full-back Sam Hopkins are the new additions to the squad.
