Whitehall Continued their unbeaten run at home with a bonus point win over local rivals Southmead.

Centre Tom Price had scored his hatrick by 30 mins but Southmead dug deep to ensure the 2nd half was more of a contest.

In what was an ill tempered match at times which saw a red card for both teams it took Whitehall until 70 mins to seal the victory and run away with the win.

Forward dominance from the home pack laid a continual platform for their backs but the visitors defence held firm for long periods. However, a pushover try for no 8 Karl Hancock & a barnstorming break by hooker Simon Henshall and a late 40 metre sprint to the line for scrum half Chris Channon saw the home supporters celebrating.

Final score 39 - 24.
